SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination (online) consists of Objective Tests for 100 marks. This test is of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

- The test will have a separate timing for each section.

The SBI Clerk preliminary and main examination are both conducted on the same exam pattern. But the difficulty level of the mains exam is generally higher than the preliminary exam.
The difference between the exam pattern of prelims & main examination is as follows:
- SBI Clerk main exam time duration is 2 hours 40 minutes.
- An additional subject included in Mains Exam is financial awareness.
